12 Ways To Get Rid of Cellulite Naturally

End Your Struggle With Cellulite!

Getting rid of cellulite naturally is all about two important things: Diet and Exercise.Cellulite is basically a combination of excess fat and body toxins lying beneath the surface of the skin.
Think about this: If your system is congested, your body will try to dump its metabolic wastes in areas of excess fat in order to get them out of the way, thus promoting the creation of cellulite.

Engaging in a cellulite or fat cleansing process through diet and exercise may be the best way to get you started on attacking that cellulite and eating healthier.
This means not sabotaging your efforts by eating foods high in saturated fats orunhealthy fats such as those found in some meats and dairy products. Unhealthy fats also include trans fats, partially hydrogenated oils, or hydrogenated oils that we commonly use in cooking or baking.

The worst are the fats found in most junk or snack foods and all kinds of fried foods, all of which love to accumulate into excess body fat. Because these food choices are so low in enzymes, which promote digestion, much of the food just sticks to our cells as excess fat. Include more bad habits to the mix like not drinking enough water, smoking, and lack of exercise, and you may find yourself in trouble. You can end up with reduced liver function, poor digestion, hormonal imbalances, constipation, plenty of allergies, and, believe it or not, stress.

But it’s never too late to change. By changing bad eating habits and by exercising, you can improve your overall health and also begin the process of ridding your body of that ugly cellulite.
All you have to do is change your lifestyle in simple and positive ways:

#1 thing is SQUATS! But if you can't do squats here are some other ways :)

Here are 12 simple tips on how to do it:
  • Drink plenty of water. Upon awakening, drink one or two glasses of pure water with lemon. This means drinking about 16 ounces of water at room temperature or, if you prefer, you can drink warm water. In total, try drinking eight glasses of bottled water each day, and include herbal teas like dandelion, red clover, burdock, or ginger

  • Add freshly squeezed lemon juice. Lemon juice helps you eliminate more toxins on a daily basis and is better to boot!

  • Take a good quality green powder drink. Consume green drinks once or twice a day for energy and nutrient content. For example, mix wheat grass or barley grass powder in 8 ounces of water.

  • Take enzymes. Don’t forget that enzymes aid in digestion. They’re extremely beneficial in your battle to get rid of fat and cellulite. Select juices and foods packed with enzymes to help you reach your weight loss goals and maintain them.

  • Boost your fiber intake. Take two to three tablespoons of ground flaxseed or chia seeds daily.

  • Drink juices every day. Try the green ones like kale, cucumber, and add apple, and ginger! —your magic bullets. I now fast once a week with vegetable juices and drink mostly vegetable juices almost every morning for breakfast. It can be a very healthy way to keep your body free of cellulite and just plain healthy.

  • Eat lots of vegetables. Try adding a daily serving of fresh salads composed of healthy vegetables with healthy dressing.

  • Choose healthy oils. Commercially heated fats like soy, corn, and canola may do more harm to your skin than good because they are so highly processed. Reach instead for olive and nut oils for cooking and to sprinkle on foods.

  • Perform a liver cleanse. The liver is a primary organ responsible for cleansing wastes from the body. It is also a vital organ that is considered a fat destroyer in the body. The liver makes sure that your body fluids are helping your body achieve optimal performance. Don’t clog the liver or your pipes with fat. Keep them working smoothly and cleanly by doing a regular liver cleanse.

  • Keep your system regular. Make sure you have one to two bowel movements every day. You know how much I love to talk about the colon! Don’t allow yourself to become constipated. Even people who are complete raw vegans still have difficulty with their bowels due to the amount of toxins that they get through the air, the environment, and the stress of daily life.

  • Get on a daily exercise routine. Just start bouncing. Get your hands on a mini-trampoline and do some bouncing to reduce your body-fat percentage. Amazingly, the trampoline was rated by NASA as the #1 most effective exercise that also promotes lymphatic drainage in your body.

  • Moistures and massage ares that are holding extra fat. This will stimulate the area and help break up fat deposits. Lotion help aid in a smoothing type motion with your hands while massaging. Think about your hands like a rolling pin as you do this, rolling away the cellulite riding it from your body.

MORE INVASIVE WAYS:

  • Liposuction: Many people naturally think of liposuction as a solution for cellulite problems. While liposuction isn’t guaranteed to eliminate cellulite as this medical procedure primarily removes fat that is deep under the skin, there have been cases where people who got liposuction did experience some visible reduction in their cellulite.
  • Laser Treatment: Laser treatments are more of a new method of getting rid of cellulite. Generally, these light therapies help to melt the fat deposits under the skin in a gentle manner though there are some laser treatments that are mildly invasive. It will typically take a few sessions for you to start seeing improvements in your the appearance of your cellulite. Results are fairly permanent if you also follow a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
  • Electric Stimulation: There are a few different types of electric stimulation but one of the most common for cellulite treatment is the microcurrent body treatment. This treatment sends a very low voltage electrical pulse into the body which triggers a natural healing response. This healing response helps reduce cellulite greatly. In most cases you can see results in just 6 to 8 sessions.
  • Mesotherapy: This non surgical cosmetic solution is still a relatively new procedure in America but is very popular in Europe. The treatment has been marketed more for reduction of fat and involves administrating multiple injections of FDA approved drugs and vitamins. Though not an ideal treatment for cellulite, there are some good reviews on the process to reduce mild degrees of cellulite.
  • Acoustic Wave Therapy: Acoustic wave therapy or AWT is becoming a more popular nonsurgical treatment for cellulite. Similar to laser or microcurrent stimulation, this proceduresends acoustic waves focused on affected body parts to firm up the skin. There have been fairly good results with this method, usually within 3 to 4 weeks but it may not work for everybody.
  • Heat Therapy: One way heat therapy is done is with treatment called Velashape. Velashape uses a combination of infrared heat, vacuum suction and radio frequency to reduce the appearance of cellulite from the inside out. It is said that Velashape is deeply relaxing and you will see a difference in your cellulite but the results may not be as great as you would expect.
  • Cellulite Creams: One of the most common techniques people use when they have a cellulite issue are creams or lotions. Most store-bought lotions are severely lacking in effectiveness but certain brands like Finulite have products with good reviews. Keep in mind that most of the effective creams will cost a bit and require weeks or even months of use before you really see a substantial difference in your cellulite.
  • Massage: Consistent massage can be a great way to reduce the appearance of cellulite over time. Massaging helps boost blood circulation and stimulate flow to sluggish, stagnant areas, and when use in combination with cellulite creams, will help to loosen and break up the fatty deposits that is causing the “dimples” in the skin. Alternatively, for those who likes to be pampered, can also visit spas or licensed masseuses who offer special anti-cellulite massages.
  • Dry Skin Brushing: Skin brushing is a wonderful inexpensive way to reduce cellulite as well as other skin blemishes like stretch marks. The dense, firm bristles in these special brushes disrupt the top layer of the skin, almost like a very light scratch, which sends the skin into repair mode. Many people swear by dry skin brushing to improve cellulite and the overall appearance of the skin.
  • Exercise & Diet: One of the best ways to get rid of cellulite would be to change your lifestyle. Since, cellulite IS fatty tissue under the thighs and buttocks, so reducing overall body fat through healthy diet and exercise can reduce the look of cellulite dramatically. Start by eating a healthy diet by cutting back on sodium and fatty foods. Keep your sodium levels to no more than 1200mg a day and choose low-fat, healthy options such as lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, and veggies. Begin an exercise regimen that you will stick to. Even just walking will really help but doing 30 minutes workouts that targets the abdomen, butt, thighs and legs can be super effective in eliminating cellulite fast.

  • In a nutshell, start eliminating cellulite today by changing your lifestyle for the better—eat healthy meals and keep your body moving through exercise.

How To Throw A Great Party!

Everyone loves a good party. Learn how to throw a great party, impress your friends, and avoid catastrophe!

Parties are fun. Or, at least, they are supposed to be fun. Throwing a good party takes a little bit of skill, especially if you actually want to be able to enjoy the gathering yourself. But if all goes well, a house party can provide hours of entertainment for guests and hosts alike – without resulting in disasters that will need to be dealt with the next day.

    Size Matters

When you think of a party, do images of a huge, out-of-control bash come to mind? Or do you think of a more private, slightly calmer gathering? Before you start inviting people, determine what kind of party you want to throw and how many people should attend.

Also take practical considerations into account. Even if you want to throw a huge party, you may not have the money, space, or tolerant neighbors necessary. The noise levels, the amount of food and drink consumed, and the potential danger of things getting out of control are directly correlated to the size of the party. Once you have settled on an appropriate size, start inviting people. Make sure to tell guests if they bring people with them, and if so, how many people.

If you really want to throw a large party but do not have room at your home, consider throwing the party at an alternate location. You might be able to rent a bar or restaurant for the occasion, although this will of course increase the cost of the party considerable. You might also be able to cohost the party with a friend who has a larger house.

    Pick a Good Time

A good party requires a good turn out. True, you may not want a huge party, but you still want people to attend. People are more likely to go to parties held on Friday or Saturday nights. Additionally, neighbors are less likely to complain about noise that occurs on these days. You should also try to make sure that your party does not conflict with other popular events.

    Be Courteous to Your Neighbors

A good party will create some noise – there is no way getting around this. To avoid potential conflicts, you should inform your neighbors that you will be throwing a party. If they now about the noise ahead of time, they will be less likely to get annoyed and call the police. You might want to invite your neighbors to the party, too. Even if you know they would not want to attend, it is always nice to be invited. Once again, they will probably be more tolerant.

You should also try to keep noise levels to a minimum, especially in the late hours of the night (or early hours of the morning). The music does not have to be so loud that you can feel it, at least not at two o’clock at night. If guests are yelling, kindly remind them of the late hour.

    Supply Entertainment

Sometimes guests will find ways to entertain themselves, but you should not count on this. You should arrange for various forms of entertainment ahead of time. Drinks and snacks will be expected.

*Veggie trays, meat and cheese trays, maybe a BBQ, chips, dips (Ranch dip, Onion dip, Guacamole, Spinach dip etc..), chicken wings, shrimp cocktail, etc...

Music is also mandatory but pick appropriate music for your guests and atmosphere. You should also try to think of activities that are a little more interactive. For example, Karaoke, Twister could be a lot of fun, even though they are a bit cheesy... make sure it is something to get people up, moving and interacting with each other.

*Photo-booth or photo area maybe with a backdrop or some decorations are always great. Buy a few disposable cameras or leave someone in charge of taking photos and see what comes out. People love having their pictures taken!

You could also chose a theme that all of your activities and decorations will match. You could even request that all of your guests dress in costume or specific colors; costumes do not need to be saved for Halloween.

Don’t limit yourself to the above suggestions; they are just meant to get the ideas flowing. When it comes to entertainment, you should be creative. If you are able to think of something truly unique, you guests will remember the party for years to come.

    Be a Good Host

Once the party has started, your responsibilities are not over. You need to be a good host. Mingle with the guests and remember to introduce new people. Offer people food and drinks, and make sure that everybody has, or knows how to get, what they need.

If your guests are shy, you will need to break the ice. Start dancing, and soon others will follow suit. If you look like you are having a good time, others will be more likely to enjoy themselves, too. If you are throwing a large party, you may want to ask a friend or two to help with some of the more enjoyable hosting duties.

    Put Away All Valuables

You will not be a good host if you are constantly worrying about your antique coffee table, the Picasso you have hanging in the living room, or the urn that holds you beloved grandfather’s ashes. Put your valuables away before the party begins. That way, you will be able to focus on your guests and not you belongings.

    Be Responsible

A good party is a safe party. Assuming that you are an adult and that your guests will be adults, you will probably be serving alcohol. After all, alcohol is a great social lubricant, and people tend to expect it at parties. Just make sure that you are a responsible host.

When it comes time for the guests to leave, make sure that they have a safe way to get home. You can either arrange for a designated driver or you can make sure that people have enough money to pay for taxis. If a guest has been drinking and has no alternative way to get home, allow that guest to stay over for night.

    Have Fun

Very few parties are carried out without any problems. Most likely, something will go wrong, and things will not go exactly according to plan. However, if you follow the above tips and use a bit of common sense, you should be able to avoid complete disaster. So when the party starts to stray from your well laid out plans, just relax and go with it. After all, it is a party – have fun.

Get Happy Now: Seven Foolproof Feel-Good Strategies

Nobody can be Rachael-Ray happy all the time (maybe not even Rachael herself!), but there are days when you wonder whether a smile will ever cross your face again. Most often, stress and worry are to blame for a miserable mood. While doing research for her book Bluebird: Women and the New Psychology of Happiness, journalist Ariel Gore discovered that anxiety, not sadness, was the true barrier to living happily. “Happiness and sadness can actually coexist quite comfortably,” she says. “Survival anxiety, money anxiety, social anxiety—those worries and stresses are the real killjoy.”

Fortunately, there are ways to feel better even in the midst of tense times. Here are just a few:

    1. Listen to music. It lowers your body’s level of cortisol (the stress hormone), reduces anxiety, and can even improve your memory. Whether you love Mozart, Alicia Keys, or Lady Gaga, it’s all good. Are you pregnant? One recent study found that lullabies and nature sounds were the best choices for helping moms-to-be relax.

    2. Warm up. The comfort of feeling warm and cozy is a terrific stress-reducer. The doctors at the international Mandometer Clinics, which specialize in treating eating disorders, use warm rooms and blankets to help anorexic women curb their anxiety after meals. Take advantage of spring’s lingering chill by taking a hot shower and wrapping yourself in a fluffy robe afterward. Savor a cup of green tea or get a hot stone massage. If it’s a nice day, put on your sunscreen, grab a book and find a sunny spot.

    3. Have a peanut butter sandwich. When you’re fixing your kids’ lunches, aren’t you tempted to make your old favorite for yourself? Go ahead. The protein in peanut butter naturally boosts your level of serotonin, the hormone that regulates moods, sleep, and behavior. Stick with an all-natural variety (you don’t need the saturated oil and preservatives in other brands), have it on whole-grain bread and skip the sugar-loaded jelly. You’re indulging your inner child, and who’s more joyful than a five-year-old?

    4. Get a friend fix. A well-known study from the University of Illinois found that the happiest people are the ones with strong bonds to friends and family. (As if you need a bunch of psychologists to tell you that girlfriend-time is fun!) A lot of us don’t make it a priority to connect with our friends regularly. Get into the habit of reaching out to a friend at least once a week, or more often if you can. Send a text, call or get together for a drink after work. And you can never have too many girls’ nights out.

    5. Bring nature into your life. Getting in touch with the earth is a time-honored stress reliever, and spring, when nature comes back to life, is a fabulous time to start. Have breakfast on the porch or in the backyard and watch the birds gathering material for their nests. Pick a tree in your neighborhood and look at it daily to see buds turn into leaves.

    6. Write it down. For her book, Gore asked women to keep a journal of the best moments in their day. This mindfulness will get you into the habit of noticing the good times as they happen. “Focusing on the moments of flow and happiness in our daily lives instead of focusing on what went wrong just has a refreshing effect,” Gore says. “We notice the natural joy more easily, and we remind ourselves, and sometimes even begin to relearn, what we want to be spending our time doing. “ Buy a notebook and keep it on your nightstand so you can write just before bed. Your entries don’t have to be long; a few lines are plenty.

    7. Get out of your rut. Many women Gore spoke to found that they were happiest doing something that took them out of their day-to-day routine: working on an art project, going on a hike, playing with the kids during a time when they didn’t have to rush off to school or sports. Shake up your schedule: Go for a walk at lunch hour instead of eating at your desk. If you spend your nights in front of the TV, turn it off and reach for your journal, a book, or a paintbrush.

In short: Don’t wait for joy to come to you—go out and grab it with both hands!!!
